Perimenopause
Perimenopause is the period leading up to menopause, during which hormone levels begin to change and periods become irregular. Menopause is not diagnosed until a woman has gone 12 months without a period.
During perimenopause, menstruation doesn’t always indicate ovulation, so it’s a good idea to track your cycle (e.g., your temperature), as this provides a clearer picture than a single hormone test.
Did you know that half of all women going through perimenopause aren’t even aware that they’re in it?!

What is perimenopause?
Perimenopause and menopause are not the same thing, although they are often confused in practice. Menopause is defined retrospectively as the point at which 12 consecutive months have passed since the last menstrual period without bleeding. Perimenopause, on the other hand, is the period preceding menopause, also referred to as the menopausal transition, during which gradual changes in ovarian hormonal function occur. It is characterized by irregular ovulation and menstrual cycles, and its duration varies. It usually lasts 4–5 years, but in some women it can begin as early as 10 years before the actual onset of menopause.

Precision control that gives you freedom
Trust the latest technology that guarantees the highest measurement precision.
Precision, convenience, discretion – the MY OVU ovulation thermometer is innovative in every way! It has made cycle tracking easier than ever before. We’ve placed a precisely designed computer system in a small, silicone vaginal ring. Safe, neutral, and comfortable for your body. Internal measurement of BBT using algorithms is much more accurate than traditional methods, which can underestimate fertile days by up to 24-48 hours.

How does it work?
Before going to bed, insert the disc into the vagina, like a tampon or menstrual cup. MY OVU will take the measurement and store the result in the device’s memory. In the morning, upon waking up, remove the disc and wash it. Transfer the data to the app, then put MY OVU back into the box.
Apply
Before falling asleep, place MY OVU in the vagina. The easiest way to do this is by bending the disc inward at the thickened area.
Fall asleep
MY OVU collects data while you sleep.
Synchronize
In the morning, remove the disk and wash it with soap. Turn on Bluetooth and send the data to your phone – just press the button on the disk’s bulge.
Read the measurement
In the app, you’ll find the current reading and forecasts for your cycle.
All the necessary information at your fingertips

The purple bar on the chart indicates the day of ovulation. The labels for days 1, 2, 3 indicate days of higher temperature, confirming ovulation.

In the calendar, you will find predictions for your future periods and ovulation, based on personalized data.

In the app, you can record your observations regarding, for example, the quality of cervical mucus and cervical position – they are also important for fertility analysis.
How are we better?
MY OVU is not just an ordinary ovulation thermometer or a regular period tracking app.
