Having trouble syncing data?

If the MY OVU app cannot sync data from the device, follow the steps below.

1. Check Bluetooth

Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone. If it is already enabled, turn it off for a few seconds and turn it on again.

2. Keep your phone close to the device

During data sync, keep your phone as close to the device as possible. Do not move it away until synchronization is complete.

3. Do not close the app

Keep the MY OVU app open on the data sync screen. Do not switch to another app during synchronization.

4. Check app permissions

On some phones, the app requires Bluetooth, location or nearby device permissions. Check the MY OVU app settings in your phone system settings.

5. Restart the app

Close the app completely, then open it again and try to sync data once more.

6. Restart your phone

If the problem continues, restart your phone and try again.

7. Still not working?

Contact support and include:

  • phone model,
  • Android or iOS version,
  • MY OVU app version,
  • description of the problem,
  • when the error appears,
  • screenshot, if available.
